Corvette Nationals Brand Design

The Queensland Corvette Club required a logo to be developed for the 31st Corvette Nationals event. Since the club is hosting the event in their home state, part of the brief was to depict a Gold Coast regional feel and to highlight the theme ‘cruising in the sunshine’ for the 2019 meet.

The logo design is based around the scenic hinterland mountains that proudly sit behind the Gold Coast’s tourist strip—which feature some spectacular drives!—and the wonderful weather that sunny Queensland delivers. The mountains’ silhouette also forms the iconic outline of the C3 Corvette convertible. The ‘sun’ element enhances the sense of destination at the end of the winding road, plus it’s gear-like shape signifies the trading of parts and exchanging of mechanical knowledge—both important aspects of the annual event.

We also did some shirt designs which feature the corporate colours of the Queensland Corvette Club, placing the full logo on the front and the graphic device on the back.

The Queensland Corvette Club formed back in 1989 and now boasts over 150 members who are passionate about Corvettes of all ages. As such the club will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in conjunction with hosting the 2019 Corvette Nationals.
